Bright's Farm poster published. Champs entries opened

Ride posters for Bright's Farm and Champs at Waitarere Rise are both now linked from our Calendar page and have been distributed to our email list.

For Bright's, use the online pre-entries form as usual.

For Champs entries you can either download and print the PDF form, or you can use the online Champs entry form.

Entries for Championship classes should be received by 26 March, please. The entry fee is $35. Late entries will be accepted up to 9 pm 29 March but attract a $5 late fee.

Entries for the two Non-championship classes (Intro and a Novice non-champs, also $35) don't have an entry deadline and can enter on the day without a late fee, but we encourage you to submit your entry earlier if you can using the same form.

Otaki results posted

You can find the Otaki Rahui Road results on our Results page now.

We expect to have the Bright's Farm ride poster (19 March) in the next few days. This will be your last chance to qualify for Champs (2 April) if you've not already done so.

Anyone who's noticed that the Champs event is missing from the online pre-entries, worry not. A separate online entry form for Champs has been created and the link will be published in the next few days. As usual a downloadable and printable entry form will be available for you to complete if the online form isn't your thing.

Just keep in mind that for Championship classes we require pre-payment of the entry fee ($35 for all classes) and your entry must be received by the close date, 26 March. More information to come shortly.

Rata Leedstown Road ride poster and Pukemarama results released

Pukemarama results have now been posted to the Results page of our website.
Our next ride – and the first for 2017 – is at Leedstown Road, Rata (between Marton and Hunterville) on Sunday 8 January. The ride poster has been linked to our Calendar.
At the request of our hosts, competitors at the Leedstown Road event will be required to sign a disclaimer at the entries table confirming that they have read and understood all known hazards on the property.
Additionally we have been asked to ensure there is NO SMOKING at this venue.  This means NO SMOKING ANYWHERE WHILE ON THE PROPERTY.
Anyone failing to comply risks censure under the club's rules.
These conditions are extremely important to our hosts and we expect all participants to observe and respect them. Failing to meet our host's conditions of use can lose us the venue.

Have a safe and happy festive season and we look forward to seeing you at our rides in 2017.

Pukemarama ride poster released. Battle Hill still awaiting confirmation due to track damage

This message from Nicky Chapman, club president

Pukemarama remains scheduled for Sunday 11 December, but please note this ride is still subject to suitable ground conditions and the availability of ground crew. The ride poster is now available in our Calendar.
When emailing your entries to Junior –please be sure to highlight PUKEMARAMA in the subject line so he can ‘park’ these entries until he’s completed the Battle Hill Ride on 4 December.
Please Note also – we have yet to receive clearance that the Battle Hill ride can proceed.  The main outward track (The Puketiro Loop) sustained major damage in the storm on 14/15 November following the earthquake. The latest advice from the venue today is that ‘the 12 tonne digger is on site to clear the track this week’……so fingers crossed….
It has been a very testing Spring trying to keep to our advertised ride schedule….
We will keep you posted…

Information for the Battle Hill ride Sunday 4 December

The Battle Hill Ride poster can be found in our Calendar.
Please note the following:
There is NO CAMPING at Battle Hill this year
The trails have endured some serious damage in last week’s storm but we are assured that all will be ready for our ride on 4 December – provided there is no more heavy rain.
Due to a four wheel drive event at the back of Battle Hill we are unable to use a portion of the trail from last year – we will advise as early as possible if we are able to recover the distances.  This will depend very much on the condition of the trails.
If anyone has any questions about the ride please direct these to or to the ride organiser Liz Antunovic
Please do not send your queries about the ride to Junior. Use the two email addresses above – only email Junior your pre-entries for the ride or fill out the on-line pre-entry form.
Only your entry will be processed by Junior.
